Mission
The Mission of the Thousand Islands Central School District is to ensure that all students think critically, communicate, create, and collaborate to become productive members of society.

About Us
The Thousand Islands Central School District is located in Northern New York. The District runs along the first thirty-six miles of the mighty St. Lawrence River from the Tibbetts Point Lighthouse on Lake Ontario to the Thousand Islands International Bridge, Interstate 81’s gateway to Canada, and occupies approximately 190 square miles. Watertown and Syracuse are within 20 minutes, and 90 minutes respectively, and Kingston, Ontario is within 60 minutes.

We have approximately 7,000 year round residents in the area, which include the villages of Cape Vincent and Clayton, the hamlets of Depauville, Fishers Landing, Rosiere, Clayton Center, St. Lawrence, and the connecting countryside.
